Treadline Construction (“Treadline,” “we,” “us”) provides hardwood flooring installation, refinishing and restoration services in the Portland, Oregon area. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
It applies to treadlineconstruction.com, treadlinerestoration.com, our ads and lead forms on Facebook and Instagram, and any phone, email or in-person contact you have with us.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our websites, submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, call, text or email us, we collect what you share. This usually includes:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The address or city of your project
- Details about the job, such as the type and size of the floor, and any photos you send
- Anything else you include in your message
Information collected automatically. When you visit our websites, we and our partners collect information about your visit. This includes your browser and device type, IP address and approximate location, the pages you view, how you scroll and click, and the site that referred you. This is collected using cookies and similar tools, described below.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and provide estimates
- Schedule, perform and follow up on your project
- Manage warranties, including inspection reminders
- Send service messages, such as appointment details or a request to review our work
- Understand how people use our websites so we can improve them
- Show our ads to people likely to be interested, and measure whether those ads work
- Protect our websites and business, and meet legal and tax obligations
Cookies and tracking tools
Our websites use the following tools from other companies. Each one collects information about your visit and handles it under its own privacy policy.

When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects that information and passes it to us. Meta’s own privacy policy also applies to that form.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, email and scheduling tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners listed above, through the tools on our websites.
- Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, customers or the public.
- A business transfer, if Treadline is sold or merged, in which case the new owner would be bound by this policy.
Your choices
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or change your choices using the consent banner on our site. Ad blockers and privacy browsers also stop most of the tools above.
- Facebook and Instagram ads. You can control how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Accounts Center under Ad preferences.
- Google ads. You can manage ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com.
- Emails and texts. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP, using the unsubscribe link, or contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including Oregon, you may have the right to ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop using your information for targeted advertising

Data retention and security
We keep your information as long as we need it to serve you, honor our warranties, and keep required business and tax records. Because our warranties can last for many years, we may keep project records for the life of the warranty. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
Our websites and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
