A PORTLAND FAMILY BUSINESS · SINCE 2006
Three Generations of Craftsmanship.
Treadline Hardwood was built by a family and it’s still run by one. Meet the people behind your floors.
Built by family. Run by family.
Treadline Hardwood started with a father teaching his son the craft of carpentry, and a hand-built family home in the Portland metro area. More than twenty years later, that same hands-on philosophy still shapes every floor we install, sand, and finish.
What began as one carpenter’s love for fine woodwork has grown into a true family business. Today, three generations of the Ragalie family work side by side: the patriarch who started it all, the second generation running daily operations, and the next generation already learning the trade, alongside their spouses, who are just as much a part of Treadline as anyone else.
We believe hardwood floors are personal. They are where your kids learn to walk, where your family gathers, where your home shows its character. That is why we treat every project the way we would treat work in our own homes: with care, patience, and pride.

Trusted hands in your home.
Beyond the family, our crew is the backbone of every project. All Treadline in-house employees are drug tested, background checked, and trained to the same high standard we hold ourselves to.
Every team member wears a Treadline name badge while on the job, and every vehicle is clearly marked with our name, logo, and CCB number, so you always know exactly who is in your home and why.
We take your home security as seriously as our craftsmanship. You should feel comfortable in your space from the first day of the project to the last.
